Over 5 days of intensive work, FITUR constitutes a key meeting-point for the international tourist industry, providing the ideal setting for networking and introduction of all new tourism products and services among the host of trade participants in presence. And the fact is that its vast growth makes FITUR one of the major trade events that offers the greatest international dimension and projection within the field of tourism.
Travco Dubai had a stand this year inside the UAE section inside the FITUR fair, and the event was attended by General Manager of Travco Dubai, Roula Jouny, General Manager and Director of Tourism Operations of Travco Egypt, Amani El Torgoman, as well as the Deputy Director of Tourism operations, Mr. Moataz Sedky, and Bassem Zaki. Travco was there to improve relations with its Spanish partners, to multiply the contacts, and to promote the group’s hotel brands and Nile cruises among the Spanish market.
“Our target was to initiate, maintain and secure sales processes with all the contacts of Travco, and to identify and approach new potential partners, which may result in an increase in sales for UAE, Oman and Egypt” stated Sedky
Travco met with many existing clients as well as potential ones, and managed to increase the volume of their existence in the market, additionally successful meetings were held with new agents from Portugal and Latin American markets that are eyeing Egypt with interest. On the other hand, Travco Dubai signed several contracts with major Spanish tour operators such as Travelplans Spain.
