The National Air Navigation Services Company (NANSC) in Egypt has recently finalized the process for the development and implementation of a Quality Management System for the Aeronautical Information Services, which is compliant with ISO 9001:2000 Standard, as required by ICAO Annex 15.

NANSC is the Egyptian Air Navigation Service Provider, which is part of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation.

The accredited Certification Company (Det Norske Veritas) recommended the Aeronautical Information Services for Certification on 17/12/2007.

Meanwhile, the National Air Navigation Services Company started the process for the development and implementation of a Quality System for the Engineering and Air Traffic Control to be compliant with ISO 9001:2000 Standard, which plans to get certified by mid 2008.
