During the session of the QTA Conference held on December 30th, and under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, the QTA Quality Travel Alliance has shed light on the new tourism trend in Egypt, Palace Tourism.

The ministry encouraged Egyptian tour operators and travel agents and their European counterparts to organize visits to palaces as part of their new programs throughout the coming few years. Throughout the past five years, the ministry has funded the renovation of significant Egyptian Palaces, namely Abdeen Palace, Ras El Tin, Mohamed Ali Palace in Shubra and the Montazah Palace; some of which are already open for visits and the rest will be opened soon.
