Travco provides strong presence at the European
Incentive and Business Travel Exhibition held in
Barcelona, offering its latest services in the
Egyptian tourism industry. “Our role was to
represent Travco Travel in Egypt as TUI’s official
agent in the area,” says Deputy Department Manager
Mice and Shore Excursions Samer Morris, offering all
MICE services; and furthermore, have promoted
Travcotels, Iberotel , Sol Y Mar and Jaz Resorts.
“We expect to have a positive feed back,” he says,
“Egypt is among the most favorite destinations to
most Europeans due to Egypt’s warm weather all year
round and attractions, meaning the sunny beaches ,
diving spots , leisure tourism, desert and sea
safari as well as the History,” explains Mr. Morris.
Egypt is positioned as an attractive destination
that can provide a venue for incentive travel
programs and product launches, generated by clients
from Europe seeking sunshine.
Also Travco Dubai made its annual presence among 34
other participants with the collaboration of
Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM)
and Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), offering the
opportunity to showcase the benefits to the global
market of choosing Travco as a preferred partner.
Travco Egypt and Travco Dubai have met with over
2,500 international leading suppliers from over 95
countries across the globe, to keep up to date with
industry trends, discover and compare new products
and services available, meet contacts on the show
floor and at the many networking events whilst
more than just an exhibition it also offers the

sessions aimed at all industry sectors.
During the EIBTM, TUI launched its latest subsidiary
“TUI Event Management”, a merge of services for
incentive and conference customers in the
destinations within a global network. The incoming
agencies of Europe’s leading travel Group will merge
the sales and marketing activities of 29 countries
in the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives,
Conferences and Events) under the new master brand
of TUI Event Management. TUI Event Management has
coordinated the leading international trade fair for
event business EIBTM. “This stresses the growing
importance of the MICE business field. With the new
brand of TUI Event Management we will obtain a clear
presence on the market as a global network of
incoming service providers,” states Mark-Stefan
Willsch, responsible for TUI Event Management. Thus,
TUI Event Management presents itself as a network of
professional and experienced DMCs (Destination
Management Companies) all over the world which
develop event concepts according to individual
demands and needs of their customers. |
