The opening of the Fairmont Cairo, Nile City is now scheduled for the third quarter of 2007. The 552- room property will form part of the Nile City Development, which also includes 10,000m² of office space and 11,000m2² dedicated to retail. Commanding a prime Nile-ide location, the hotel will be an hour away from the pyramids and Sphinx. The hotel will feature four restaurants, four bars and lounges and a business center, as well as extensive meeting space. The rooftop will be home to one of the restaurants, in addition to a swimming pool, a hot tub and outdoor function space. It will also boast views of the Nile, Sphinx and Pyramids. Developing the project are Nile City Investments Company and Kingdom Hotel Investment Group. 

With Indian artwork, natural wood floors and atmospheric lighting, the Maharaja Restaurant at the Ramses Hilton hotel is now open, creating an exotic dining experience. The tandoori  show - cooking    area   serves   tempting contemporary

 Indian cuisine including a wide   range   of individually   prepared   dishes.   H.E.   Ambassador   of India Mr. A. Gopinathan presided over   the   opening   of   Mahraja   Indian  Signature Restaurant. 

InterContinental City Stars Cairo announces the inauguration of its Lifestyles Health Club and Spa, offering   professional   services.  The   3000m²-

clubcomprises 12 Spa treatment rooms, each prepared with its own heating, lighting and music controls. Guests can experience treatments from different cultures, including Egyptian, Ancient Japanese, Thai, Ayurvedic, and Native American. The health club is equipped with a sauna, indoor whirlpool, and hydro pool. Its gym enjoys a great number of highly advanced machines. The health club also enjoys the first Pilates studio in Egypt; in addition to an aerobics studio, yoga and dance studios. The health club features four championship squash  courts and two tennis courts.
