Spirit of Adventure is a small size ship, enabling
tourists to cruise ports of call more than larger
cruise ships as they can not visit some ports due to
their size. It only caters for just 352 passengers.
Spirit of Adventure features a briefing room,
computer and internet facilities and a well-stocked
library, as well as a small fitness center; in
addition to, a spa, a pool, hair dressing salon and
DVD Library along with other facilities such as fine
dining restaurant and cocktail bars. The Middle
East, especially Dubai, has become one of the top
destinations on the world cruise tourism map. In
2005, Dubai handled cruise ships with nearly 13,000
passenger movements. Dubai expects to reach 20,000
cruise passengers by 2006 and 30,000 in 2007.
