THOMSON, a leading British tour operator, has
awarded Iberotel Palace and Iberotel Coraya Beach
Resorts the Golden Medal Awards for best retail
travel agent of the year 2006 at the Award’s Annual
Event in London during the World Tourism Market,
which took place in November 2006. Over 100,000
consumer votes were gathered to decide on the
winners of the 2006 accolades. The Thomson Awards is
an independent annual event celebrating the consumer
favorite and the best hotels and resorts around in
the travel industry. Area Manager Egypt Nigel
Galbraith says, “What makes this award really
special is that unlike other travel awards, this one
is voted for by customers and it’s their opinion
that matters the most.” Receiving the award on
behalf of Iberotel Coraya Beach Resort was Mr. Magdi
Shokri, director of sales and marketing of Marsa
Alam; and Mr. Hans Ruedi Frutiger, Iberotel Palace
general manager. |
