Following the Egyptian government’s New Initiative Campaign “Tourism is Good for All of US”, in educating the public about the value of tourism, Travco Travel held conducted a seminar under the title “How Tourism benefits Communities” at the Federation of Tour Operators FTO conference, which took place in Sharm El Sheikh. In April 2006, the Egyptian  Ministry of Tourism launched the “Tourism is good for All of Us”, aiming at raising public awareness about the importance of the tourism industry to the economy especially regarding employment through education, media and public relation campaigns and hospitality training.
