Day 1
Upon your arrival at the Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a Travco representative who will assist you through the immigration and customs formalities. You will then be transferred by a deluxe vehicle to your hotel in Cairo to check in and stay overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast will be followed by a drive to Alexandria where we will visit the Old Harbor, Catacombs, Roman Museum (lunch in Restaurant). The evening is spent touring the city, then you will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast will be followed by a drive to Alamein. There we will visit the Museum and the WWI memorial. We will have lunch en route, and move on to pass Mersa Matruh. Upon reaching Siwa, we tour the old Siwan Village of Shali, and have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast we will visit Cleopatra’s Spring, Mountain of the Dead, Alexander
the Great Temple (Temple of the Oracle), and have lunch at a restaurant. We will then take a donkey-drawn cart for a tour around the city before heading off road to the Great Sand Sea where we have dinner and relax while looking at the stars, and camp overnight.
Day 5
After breakfast we head off road on a 400km journey to Bahareya Oasis. We will pass by Bahrein, Nawemisa and Sitra Oases. We will visit Roman catacombs and pass through magnificent sand dunes of the Great Sand Sea. We will have a picnic lunch, and upon reaching Bahareya, we will check in our hotel to have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 6
We will have breakfast in Bahareya, and then tour the city to visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, the Tombs of the Nobles, the Golden Mummies and the English Mountain. We will have lunch en route, and move on to the White Desert. We will start exploring the formations and wind carved sculptors that resemble both Human and Animal Faces, as well as formations that resemble the surface of a different planet. The night is spent in Farafra hotel including dinner.
Day 7
After breakfast we go off road to the “Black Desert” and the dune area. We start
our climb of a 50meter dune. On route to Bahariya we visit the Crystal Mountain and the Area of the Wonders with the Desert Roses and the Arch. After lunch we head towards Cairo to check in the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8
After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for final departure.
