Madinat Makadi Golf Resort

Handicap

• To play the Championship Course minimum handicap -36 for men & ladies is required.
• Guest players have to proof their membership and regular handicap in a international recognized Golf Club by valid club-membership-card.

Reservation

• Requests for tee time reservations may be made up to three months in advance by E-mail.
• The Golf Club will confirm available tee times within 24 hours in urgent and last minute cases immediately after checking the appropriate tee time list and available tee times of the day.
• Tee times will be confirmed according to availability.
   

Cancellation policy

• 48 hours notice for bookings made within ten days of a reserved tee time (100% cancellation fees).
• 10 days notice for bookings made within one month of a reserved tee time (50% cancellation fees).
• 30 days notice for all long-term reservations made outside of one month (no charge).

Regulations

• The Golf Course and its facilities are open 365 days a year from 7:00 am – until darkness.
• Guest players must have reserved and confirmed tee times.
• Tee off is in principle from 1st Tee. Tee off from 10th tee needs permission from club management.
• Daily playing operation is in flights of four players (foursome). Playing sequence and priority are: Foursome - Threesome - Twosome - Single players have no playing rights and priority.
• Soft-spikes is a must.
• The Golf Club expects from its guest players the acceptance of the international golf-etiquette and the local rules and regulations.
• If etiquette and local rules and regulations are flouted guest players can be banned from the golf course.
• No Show of a confirmed tee times has as consequence of the loss of the tee time and no alternative tee time will be arranged.
• Golf Club expects from guest players a suitable dress code on the golf course.
• Golf Club does not accept house animals on the golf course and in the Club House Restaurant/Bar.
• Smokers have to use ashtrays on the golf course.
• Mobile telephones should not be used during the round.
• In case of regional, national or international required tournaments or events with paramount interests for Madinat Makadi Golf Resort, The Golf Club has the right to change reserved and confirmed t-times as long as the Golf Club informs customers at least two months in advance.
• In case of unforeseeable urgent maintenance works on the Golf course which influence the playing operations, Golf Club is obliged to inform the cooperating partners regarding playing restrictions.
• For group bookings (12 players or more) ; a 50% deposit will be required payable one month prior to play with the remaining balance invoiced as per normal terms.

El Gouna Golf

Handicap

• To play El Gouna Golf Course a minimum handicap of –45 and soft spikes are necessary.
• Higher handicaps will be accepted only at special tee-times (out of main playing operation) when the course is not booked out.
• Actual handicap has to be proved by valid membership-card or official handicap certificate.

Reservation

• Tee times are to be requested by e-mail, confirmation will be subject to availability.
• Guests could be in foursome-groups in tee times.
   

Cancellation Policy

• More than 5 days before 1st tee time, no charge.
• From 5 days to 1 day before 1st t-time, 50% cancellation fees of reserved service/s.
• On the first day of play, 100% cancellation fees of reserved service/s.
   

Regulations

• Closed groups or incentive events on the golf course will be priced and agreed separately and are subject to deposit and payment policies and are not included in established credit arrangement. The rates are subject to negotiation according to situation of each separately.
• In case of regional or national required tournaments or events with paramount interests for the course, El Gouna Golf has the right to change reserved and confirmed tee times as long as the golf management informs the customers at least 2 months in advance.
• In case of foreseeable urgent maintenance works on the golf course which influence the playing operations, El Gouna Golf is obliged to inform the cooperating partners as soon as possible regarding playing restrictions.
   

La Residence des Cascades Golf Resort – Soma Bay

Handicap

• Only players with accredited handicaps of than 36 or better are eligible for play on the Cascades Championship Course. Individual tee time bookings for the Championship Course must be accompanied with an indication of handicap and proof of handicap should be submitted prior to play.
• Players with handicaps higher than 36 should be invited to play on the Cascades Short Course, where no handicap restrictions apply.

Reservation

• Tee time booking to be reserved in advance and would be subject to availability.
• Early tee times (from 7:00 to 7:30) are to be reserved in priority for low handicap players. This restriction is to be lifted 14 days before the playing dates.
• During congested periods, tee times from early morning through 10:00 hrs are to be reserved exclusively for players with a handicap of 24

Cancellation policy

• Tee times booked are subject to 15 days full cancellation fees.
   

El Gouna Golf

General Terms and Conditions (applicable for the three Golf Courses)

Advertising

• All pictures and texts describing any Golf Course in any publication need to be approved by the management of the Golf Course prior to printing or via internet.
• The Golf Course to receive a copy of the publication.
   

Payment procedures

• Pre-payment of green fees and other services to be settled 21 days prior to the reserved first tee time by bank transfer to Travco bank details:
